October 2017 saw us launching our mini documentary "Mothers of Light" at Deepti Special School where it was made. Over 100 parents and their children came to watch it and its message of hope and joy was followed by a wonderful celebration of singing, dancing and acting by the children of
Deepti. It was a fitting tribute to the power of creativity to change lives and inspire joyful expression.
This was followed by a launch of the film in Singapore in November alongside a panel that discussed Film as an agent of social change. Again the overriding message was one of the joy and hope that playfulness brings and how Developmental Play is changing lives for the better for mothers in rural India.
