2019 a year to celebrate
It has been a really full year for CreateCATT with our 1st International Developmental Play Conference in Manila, the launch of Developmental Play in Bangalore, emerging partnerships, and our work represented at conferences across the world: the LEGO and UNICEF Play Conference in Pretoria, The 1st UK/US Art Therapy in London, and the Asian Regional Network of Early Childhood (ARNEC) conference in Hanoi.
We have trained over 80 Certified Developmental Play Practitioners and launched our new blended learning online training and three new courses in our online academy. One for parents, one on autism and one on storytelling - with our story-cards pack included. You can find these resources at www.createcatt-academy.com
It has been a playful and creative year and we are delighted to welcome so many of you to our global community to support ALL children to create, play, move and learn.
2020 – a year to look forward to
In the New Year, we will extend our training across India and Vietnam, and in June we will offer our first train-the-trainers course in Manila, extend our training to Davao in the Philippines, and open discussions with partners in the US. We are also looking forward to the first book chapter on the Developmental Play Model coming out in the Routledge International Handbook of Play and Play Therapy and an article in the new year edition of Childhood Education Innovations, www.acei.org.
